I can no longer remember what I made this chocolate sauce
for. But I remember making it and I remember it being tasty!
Dark Chocolate Sauce
Slightly adapted from Waffles: Sweet, Savory, Simple by Dawn Yanagihara
Ingredients
- 1 c. heavy (35%) cream
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. coarse sea salt, ground
- 170g dark chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Directions
- Combine cream, corn syrup, and salt and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate and butter.
- Let stand for 2-3 minutes, then whisk until smooth.
- Serve warm or transfer to a jar and chill until ready to use. Reheat before serving.
